Data Collection Plan

The collection plan will entail emailing surveys to past participants from the Spring 2014 to the Summer 2016 sessions. This will include sixty-eight faculty participants in total who will receive this survey.

 

  1.  Will be sent out to all faculty who participated in the cohort program during the semesters between Spring 2014 to Fall 2016. The focus of the survey is to collect data regarding how participants feel the program was helpful and how they applied what they learned from the cohort program to their own course design. Artifact survey data collected from the cohort introduction workshop survey will also be used in the analysis.

  2. Face-to- face interviews will be conducted with instructional designers who assisted faculty participants in the cohort program. The questions will help identify support standards they are using to assist participants. Interviews will also be given to the three facilitators who participated in one of three revisions of the program. The interview will help identify how the facilitators kept designers and participants on-task and how they ensured the QM standards are being met.
